Sheila Baxter has enjoyed a long career as a Registered Nurse.

After three decades spanning psychiatry, intermediate care, brain and spinal surgery, post-operative recovery and paramedical nursing, in 1999 she launched Western Canada’s first mental health and addiction treatment laser therapy centre in Nanaimo, Canada.
