PTSD Treatment

The LCH Technique® supports nervous system recovery and helps reduce the intensity of trauma responses so you can feel safe, present, and in control again.

Treating PTSD with the LCH Technique®

Our unique approach to post-traumatic stress is a relaxing, drug-free treatment that has demonstrated meaningful results for people living with the lasting effects of trauma.

Post-traumatic stress disorder develops when the nervous system becomes stuck in a state of high alert following an experience (or repeated experiences) that felt life-threatening, overwhelming, or deeply unsafe. PTSD is the body’s survival response, doing exactly what it was designed to do, then struggling to turn off.

PTSD can follow a single event, such as an accident, assault, medical emergency, or sudden loss, or it can develop over time from prolonged exposure to trauma, including childhood adversity, domestic violence, or occupational stress.

Symptoms vary widely but may include intrusive memories or flashbacks, hypervigilance, avoidance of reminders, emotional numbness, sleep disturbance, irritability, and a persistent sense of threat or disconnection.

Many people with PTSD are reluctant to seek help, concerned about reliving difficult experiences, being judged, or being labelled.

At Laser Centers for Health, your care is strictly private, completely non-judgmental, and delivered with the highest degree of sensitivity and respect.

The LCH Technique® supports the nervous system to move out of chronic stress activation. By stimulating specific points associated with relaxation, emotional regulation, and nervous system balance, treatment aims to reduce the intensity of trauma responses, ease hypervigilance and reactivity, improve sleep, and support a gradual return to a sense of safety and calm.

Treatment does not require you to relive or recount traumatic events.
